Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for services purchased directly from MyClubtap. MyClubtap is operated by Club Fantasy Square Pty Ltd.

Last updated 27 July 2026

1. Competition packages

This section applies to Platform Licence, Managed Services, Partnership Services and other competition-related packages purchased from MyClubtap.

Before setup begins

If you cancel before MyClubtap has commenced setting up your competition, you may request a full refund.

After setup has begun

If work has already commenced, any refund will be assessed based on:

  • the work already completed;
  • services already delivered;
  • costs incurred specifically for your competition; and
  • any third-party expenses that cannot be recovered.

MyClubtap may offer a partial refund or account credit for the unused portion of the service.

After the competition has launched

Change-of-mind refunds are generally not available after the competition has been launched. This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Launch guarantee

Where a written proposal or agreement includes a launch or pilot guarantee, the conditions stated in that agreement will apply.

If MyClubtap is unable to successfully release the competition within the agreed timeline for reasons within MyClubtap's control, the organiser will be eligible for the remedy specified in the agreement, which may include a full refund.

The guarantee does not apply where the delay or failure results from:

  • information, approvals or materials not being supplied on time;
  • inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the organiser;
  • changes requested after the project has commenced;
  • third-party systems or services outside MyClubtap's control; or
  • events beyond the reasonable control of either party.

3. Competition cancellation or postponement

If a club, league or organiser cancels or postpones its sporting competition, MyClubtap will work with the organiser to determine whether the fantasy competition can be:

  • rescheduled;
  • transferred to another competition;
  • retained as an account credit; or
  • partially refunded based on services already provided.

Any refund will be assessed individually and will take into account work already completed and costs already incurred.

4. Services that cannot be delivered

If MyClubtap cancels a service or is unable to provide a purchased service, we may offer:

  • a replacement or rescheduled service;
  • an account credit; or
  • a refund for the affected portion of the service.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply. Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded by this policy.

5. Subscriptions and app-store purchases

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to the payment, cancellation and refund processes of the relevant app store.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not ordinarily provide a refund for a billing period that has already commenced, except where required by law or permitted by the relevant store.

6. Sponsor and third-party purchases

MyClubtap may display sponsor promotions, discount codes or links to third-party products and services.

Unless MyClubtap is identified as the seller, purchases made from a sponsor or third-party business are governed by that business's terms and refund policy. Refund requests should be submitted directly to the relevant seller.

7. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email help@myclubtap.com and include:

  • the purchaser's name;
  • the club, league or competition name;
  • the invoice or payment reference;
  • the reason for the request; and
  • any relevant supporting information.

We will review the request and generally respond within five business days.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible. MyClubtap will normally initiate the refund within two to three business days, although banks and payment providers may take additional time to process it.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
